The Protagonist

so basic plot:

TB and Am live in an elven forest city they are the best of friends and they are brothers. at their coming of age they have there fortunes told by the Earth tree. it says one will be the elven people saviour the other will bring about its destruction. but no one knows this but them. the continue with their youth until Tb accidently kills a Am's love "some female elven name " in a fit of rage after she preferred Am over him then flee's. seeing what happened Am vows to track TB and avenge his loves death.

along the way Am meets amazing creatures and friends he helps those in need and learns that within himself he holds great power to help but also great power to destroy.

TB in his flight meets incredibly evil and sadistic people who he has to deal with, along his flight to somewhere where he can live out his days he is forced to fight and in doing so he finds that he also has great power, and what he does with it is up to him.

two brothers. Mortal Enemies, the fate of the world rests on them.




Plot twist: towards the end AM is so consumed by his need for vengeance he makes a pact with doom to kill TB, TB seees this and even in his demented and demon form he realises that he still loves his brother and sacrifices himself to stop AM from destroying the world... in doing so becomes the elven peoples saviou.

This would be perfect if it were set in the universe of the original dota! Gr8 m8 would r8 8/8!


However, in dota 2 Magina and Terrorblade are no longer brothers, so this story would be rather incongruent with their respective lores. Also, I think Invoker would be a better antagonist in my opinion. After all, Kael is a huge ****head that is always full of himself, which might lead Magina to believe that all mages are that way, further strengthening the divide between him and his teammates.

Plot:

Am and TB are kids in the same elven town am is the son of the town blacksmith and TB is the son of the local merchant. Tb is mean spiteful and cruel using his fathers wealth to lord it over the other kids while AM has heaps of friends but is usually the main target of Tbs cruel tricks. one day the lord of the kingdom comes through the town on a drive for soldiers to fight against an invading army of undead. they are to head off to the capital city where they are to be assessed and sorted into either mages soldier healer or officers. out of the children that the king picks AM and TB are included. TB having seen this as a huge honour now feels sullied that AM is considered the same as him and a deep resentment and hatred for AM builds.

when they arrive at the acadamey they are scried by the resedent Mage and soorted into there future posistions Am and TB are said to be great mages. TB once again having been asessed as AM's equal increases his hatred and resentment. they go through the years learning the spells and ways to fight for their king all the while TB is being mean and cruel to Am.

towards the end of thier acadamey training Am meets the princess and they fall in love. TB seeing how if this goes ahead will mean AM is "better " then him cant allow this and summons a demon from the depths of hell who he then asks for a deal unbewonst to him the demon is a thrall of the great mage Kael who sees the potential in tb and tells the demon to accept his deal. the deal was for the power to remove Am fro ever being his competition in magical power and in return TB would have to go be the deoms student and slave for 5 years. where in fact he was going to be invokers who had his final peice in the great plan he was constructing.

while the deal was being struck AM was doing a little magic to impress the princess who had also fell in love with him. the demon couldnt remove AM/s power it was too great so he placed a block upon him sealing off him from his magic. as he did so the spell that Am was doing backfired and horribly hurt the princess. having to flee from the kingdom Am found himself hiding within the great caverns beneath the kingdom where he found a dying being. which turned out to be a rouge Nyx Assasin one who had been enlightened by a passing preacher. from this assasin he learned how to turn mages power against them then the Anub died and then he left and went travelling on his travels he met a roaming blade keeper who was the last of his tribe becoming friends he learned blade work and the martial skills. during this time TB was falling deeper and deeeper in the delths of evil with invoker sneakily crafting him into his final piece of his master plan for ultimate power with out him even knowing. though TB was gaining great power in being taught by this demon.

Am then travelled all over the world seeking redemption for what he had done to the princess hoping to find his magic agin...

am learns all his skills from dota2 characters then he finds out about what tb did so he goes to get revenge they fight and then Kaels master plan is reveled with TB beiung the key to unleashing a Primordial upon the world who Kael wishes to control gainign him limitless power. Am tries to stop them but TB is too proud to realize hes been duped and Kael succeeds then book two starts with Am recovering at a house under the care of a female elf healer ...

he falls in love then recovers learns his final skill then because he has honor he must save the world and then he does so after a final battle with tb and invoker...

I miss it when Magina and Terrorblade were brothers and Furion was their dad. That would've been a cool dynamic to keep.
