So I was thinking. If all the utility responsibility is pushed on lich, would a utility lich with Mekansm, Drum of Endurance, and Crimson Guard combined with his Ice Armor be viable?

It depends on where you play him - a mid or offlane Lich can probably get the farm together to think about this - although personally I'd probably go Mekansm/ Veil of Discord/ Aghanim's Scepter into Scythe of Vyse on him instead.

More usually, if you're playing hard support, you'll struggle to get anything much him at all, depending on how the game is going. No point getting a late Mek, so Veil of Discord would be the usual choice.

ofcourse pretty much all utility items are legit on him. but i dont know why you would ever get a drum on him. its a very low impact item to get with your limited farm.

if you want a cheap aura get vlads instead, much more usefull for your team.
