If every one clump together = Faceless Void win, if every one out of position = Spectre win. Talking about countering Spectre, Medusa plays a better role, her ulti can take out Spectre's illusion easily...

Yes, jump into 5-man gang just to lure out their Blade Mail, I'm pretty sure void with such little hp are capable to tank 5 heroes for 3 seconds.

Perma-bash is only possible during late game when Faceless Void hits really fast, with just a Mask of Madness can't really perma-bash. You are saying like he have a 100% bash chance, in that case no hero can beat him, and Faceless Void would be counter-pick to every hero! Mask of Madness will amplify any incoming damage, including pure damage from Dispersion, so the lifesteal isn't really capable to cover up for what he lost.

Both are very passive in laning phase and time lock isn't that reliable to last hit, it just a farming war, and why would Spectre go for Orchid Malevolence? It's kinda weird item to go with since Spectre don't need that much of mana to be effective.

And hey, spectre playstyle should be hiding somewhere in the map, perhaps farming, and wait for opportunities to haunt in, especially after initiation and then kill any squishy heroes who plays important roles, for example : Crystal Maiden, Lion and any other squishy supports, when haunt is over void are left there to 1v5.

Dota is about teamworks and hero lineup, comparing hero through 1v1 can't define their real potential.

Blaid maid for sure rapes any hard carries but specter won't . And intel support don t go blaid mail. +good reflex before chrono , this is doable since chrono need 1 second to pop but you also can be lured. any way this is not the question here.

Never spectre is harder carry than void, the perma bash and the heal from MoM won t put him at half HP. specter is no centaur OK. Seriously after chrono That poor spectre With treads, diffusal and a part of heart as no chance against Void tread, MoM, Daedalus. coz she is already 25% HP and perma bash.

I play both and void is a counter pick against spectre.

same skilled players on mid:
void will have a better farm since last hit better with time lock however.
Void will go damage with MOM crystalis and spectre with orchid i guess. if void engage spectre will be dead or very low hp at this point.
if specter engage with a really fast hunt void will time walk or chrono for a fail hunt or the same issue as above.
If specter go tank, no one will die until void out carry specter and/or out farme spectre

OK, so Void vs Spectre? Equally farmed? Void will not win. Simply because Spectre has much more survivability and is a harder carry than Void. Spectre deals bonus damage 1v1 + Void takes more damage with MoM. While hitting Spectre in chrono he will take out half of her health at best with half of his gone. After that Spectre will win in right-clicking battle hands down.

If Faceless Void going full damage build I'm pretty sure Blade Mail counters him pretty hard. When Faceless Void fly in with Time Walk, with the obvious effect of Time Walk and good reflex activate Blade Mail before Chronosphere is not a hard thing to do.

I have a game versus full damage build Faceless Void ( Battle Fury Mask of Madness Daedalus ), and everyone went Blade Mail , basically when he fly in with Time Walk, we all activate Blade Mail just before he could Chronosphere there is basically nothing he can do, he hit = he die, no hit = we pwn him.

spectre tread manta ,of course i will go Bf , No need to be Darwin to do that after you see a piece of a yasha build... , so Yeah during the duration maybe not always according to the bashes but in the 2 next hit yeah she dies

and this arguement surfaced due to the sole reason that you thought you could take down an EQUALLY FARMED SPECTRE in the DURATION of a chronosphere. admit that your wrong dude you know it.

manta costs 4100 that is 500 more than bkb, easly compensated by MoM.

you will have manta at that time i will have Bf, and part of crytalis, at this point i farm faster than you i got daedalus before your heart: you die. if not dead after you pop up manta your illusions take me one hit to know which one you are if you are not perma bash after chrono ( i m full HP while you are about 25% if not dead. Why competitive game ban Void after picking specter??? No reason maybe. And void last hit better than specter already
