So the other day I was experimenting with Invoker builds and tried to go with WE heavy build and rightclick items (botgame). It worked better than I expected.
Going for Mask of Madness Daedalus / Mjollnir with Alacrity really did some dmg midgame. However I felt there was something missing from playing other carries. I guess it's the same as playing Windranger carry in that the items that give INT usually don't give the things a carry wants ( Yasha movespeed or Skull Basher bash) so you have to compromise and get either only pure dmg items (crit or mkb) or go INT heavy items sacrificing the extra dmg potential.

Does anyone have experiences with this kind of WE Invoker build and can share some thoughts?

Ummm...sure you can play Invoker as a right-click hero but he's defintely not the best hero for this.

Only real question is, how do you use your *spells*? What's your teamfight combo?

I'vs tried lots of teamfight stuff with a pure Wex Exort Invoker (e.g 2 Quas and full WE), typically things like

Blink Dagger -> Shiva's Guard -> EMP -> Ice Wall -> Chaos Meteor -> Deafening Blast

with so-so results. Kind of fun to screw around with though. If you land the meteor + blast *inside* the wall it's pretty legit.

Seen this a couple of times, never works. Skipping Quas means you have no regen in lane, you're very squishy in midgame, and you don't have any good controlling spells.

Its just a lolzy pub rightclick build, but QE and QW are better.
