Mount Volcanex stands over the battleground of the ancients, for so long it has stayed dormant, but when Radiant heroes sought to take the power of lava to defeat Dire, Rotox, the guardian of MountVolcanex, awoke. With a strong desire to defeat the Radiant intruders, he places his allegiance on the side of Dire. And may hold a strong role in this battle.
Rotrox, The Guardian of Volcanex
Starting Attributes: Health: 494 Mana: 286 Strength: 26 (Primary Attribute) Agility: 16 Intelligence: 17 Movement Speed: 285 Armour: 3
(Pick Target Enemy) Igneous Shard: Rotrox fires a shard of volcanic rock at the enemy, dealing moderate damage and burning them over time.
Initial damage: 80/100/110/120
Damage over Time:10/20/30/40
Duration of burn: 5
Mana: 100/120/130/140 Cooldown: 15/13/12/11
(Target Point) (AoE) Magma Jet: A burst of ret hot lava is fired from Rotrox's hands, doing damage per second in a medium AoE.
Damage over Time: 50/55/60/70
Duration: 2/3/4/5
Radius: 350
Mana: 50/60/70/80 Cooldown: 17/15/14/13
(Passive) Molten Shield: Enemies who attack Rotrox will have a nasty surprise as the air around him catches fire, setting them on fire and dealing damage per second. Enemies can also pass the burning debuff on to their allies. (Ranged heroes are not effected)
Damage per second: 25/30/35/45
Duration 2/3/4/5
(Pick Target Area) (AoE) Volcanic Eruption,
Rotrox ruptures the ground, spewing lava all around dealing damage in a huge AoE and also dealing damage over time (Aghanim's scepter causes burning enemies to pass the burning debuff on to their allies)
Eruption Delay: 2.5/2/1.5 (scepter 1)
Initial Damage: 400/500/600 (scepter 700)
Damage over time 50/60/70 (scepter 85)
Duration of burn 3/6/9
Mana: 600/650/700 Cooldown: 100/95/90
Nice idea, tons of burst damage on 1 hero! It's relatively simple, but what some people don't understand is that a hero doesn't need to have an overwhelmingly complex skillset to be interesting and unique. Though the concept is cool, I'd like to address some balance issues :D.
Molten shield is a little underwhelming, if you see Viper's Corrosive Skin, you'll know what I mean :).
Also, I think that unless Volcanic Eruption has a delay where it can be dodged (like with Earth Splitter), it does too much initial damage. I suggest reducing it to manageable levels if that is so.
I'm glad you joined the hero ideas "club", and I hope you'll make more interesting hero concepts!
Thank you! It's nice to see what other people think of my ideas. I buffed the molten shield and also added that burn gets passed onto enemies allies. I also nerfed the damage of Volcanic eruption slightly and added a delay. Thanks again :)

Thanks for the ideas, but I'd rather keep him as is. There a quite a few Dota 2 heroes which possess nothing but damaging abilities and passives (ie: Luna, Sniper) and I was hoping to make a semi-carry, nuker type hero. Thank you anyway, maybe you can make a hero using a similar ability to that? :)
