I'm so green I just downloaded the game yesterday. Really like it, but don't like getting pwned. Need help with roles/character selection and pretty much everything else.

Don't be off put by the title, it's a serious guide aimed at explaining the harsh reality that is learning to play DOTA. You will get pwned for ages, as even mastering the basics can take months. Getting good at the game takes even longer.
