Dota 2 Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

I've been thinking about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and there is one of them who is in Dota 2 that is Nessaj the Chaos Knight. Chaos Knight's lore and dialogue lines draw many references to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Nessaj him self is represented as horseman War. His responds to his horse as Armageddon. "Ahead, Armageddon", "Armageddon comes", "Again I unleash Armageddon", "Feel the thunder of Armageddon's hooves", "Bestride Armageddon, I ride down my enemies", "Armageddon, where did you go". Nessaj's ultimate Phantasm: summons several copies of the Chaos Knight from alternate dimensions. On level 6 summons 1 copy of him, that makes 2 horsemen, on level 11 summons 2 copies of him which makes 3 horsemen, on level 16 summons 3 copies of him which make 4 horsemen. When casting Phantasm he him self says: "Gather, knights", "The horsemen of the apocalypse", "The legion comes". While moving: "Where ride the horsemen, death shall follow". So what about the other 3 horsemen. In Dota 1 players knew the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are Nessaj, Ezalor, Abaddon, Legion Commander. War is the rider of the Red Horse, Ruin - Nessaj. Death is Rider of the Pale Horse, Despair - Abaddon. Fury is the rider of the Black Horse and the only female of the Four Horsemen - Legion Commander but the main thing is that in Dota 1 he rides a black horse and he is a man, but in Dota 2 it's a female but doesn't ride a horse. Strife is the rider of the White Horse - Ezalor. From my point of view none of these 3 have a connection with Nessaj. First: cause Abaddon cannot represent the horseman death cause In the Christian Bible, Abaddon is the name of an angel, who will rise from the Abyss and command an army of locusts. Two: Legion Commander is not even connected with this. Third: Ezalor is 2 weak from the rest of the 3 heroes. My thinking is we should wait till all remained heroes are released: Phoenix, Abyssal Underlord, Soul Keeper, Oracle, Techies, Arc Warden, Winter Wyvern. Than ask Ice Frog to make the other 3 horsemen which will be totally epic after the make them Valve will add them. We got Doom Bringer from the Bible, others from myths Medusa, Zeus, Phoenix etc. who are so epic. Why not have the other 3 horsemen added, you think it will be ****? Then you're totally wrong, it will be just awesome. PS: Sorry if I have a bad english cause some say I do. We still got a better heroes and their lore, than LOL :). All 3 heroes are bad *** and their main role should be Carry - Hard, since all 4 bring destruction.

My point is when all heroes heroes are going to be released, these 3 need to be added. Everyone will start to ask for new heroes so these are the 3 best suggestion. But the main thing is you don't give a **** and you don't know about the four horsemen. Search it on the net you'll see.

Just as I said to samukobo I will say it to you Peppo_oPaccio. You don't give a ****, cause you don't know about the 4 horsemen none does, only few. So when all heroes are gonna be released, everyone will start to cry for new ones and these 3 are the best suggestion. I will post this thread again when all heroes are going to be released. And look more in to details about Nessaj and the 4 horsemen. You will see that Nessaj represents War. Instead to be Nessaj the War something like that. When there is War there is Chaos. So they gave the name Nessaj the Chaos Knight.

You're kinda right. But anyway, bringing up the argument "Heroes need to be released, so I won't talk about my suggestion anymore" is wrong: in the first DotA, for example, they're working on a new Hero called Sun Wukong (brought from Chinese literature). I don't think having the Horsemen of the Apocalypse would be that bad, in fact I can't think about other Heroes to add besides heroes from Greek mythos or some relegious-based characters (like your Horsemen, after all); maybe this isn't the right place to talk about speculations, but in fact I don't think there's a dedicated thread for it without counting Hero and item ideas. And mine was a joke, you could've taken it less seriously.

And by the way, I would like a Horseman or two to be a nuker or gaker (or even support if possible): releasing 3 hard carries one after the other (and considering CK is more of a semi-carry) could be a bit boring for the fanbase since players like various roles.

PS: you can't expect everyone to know about the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse. The New Testament is a pretty challenging reading, and considering there are even people that are less than 20 years old you might find someone who isn't interested on the Bible. I'm not implying me or samukobo are like 16 though (I actually don't know samukobo's age but I don't mind anyway).

ok first off i didn't really want to start anything but i found myself a tad annoyed when he said you don't know "****" about the "horsemen" which struck me as kinda rude also secondly you did not put forward a question which is kinda what the forum is for and you didn't ask for any discussion concerning your post and when people did dare to ask for a point of the post you rudely replied which is, well... kinda being a douche.

i actually do know a lot about the Horsemen and i can say with 100% certainty that
a) f.e.a.r.o ... considering i have a masters in theology, 60% of what you said is a fallacy, and the parts you do have correct are still upside down.
b) by the way the correct four are "conquest, war, famine and death" as said in the book of revelations as Judah (Jesus) opens gods seven sealed scroll.
c) Abbadon is a complex theological idea/person. he is either a person or an idea.
in Hebrew codex it means destruction or to be destroyed. yet in the christian bible's (since technically there are two) he is a angel but one of the abyss and not connected to the horsemen in any way. he is, in colloquial terms, a Punisher of people without the seal of god (i.e. Christians).

but seriously dude try to be nicer to people, it doesn't take a lot of effort, and when you do post something make sure you have a question or are asking discussion on something.

Now I'm not rude I just said no one cares that's all but the idea of the horsemen is great. I know about the revelation u said. Let me Explain. The most common interpretation of the Horsemen has them named Conquest, War, Famine, and Death. However, in pop-culture, Conquest is replaced with Pestilence. Strife does share some resemblance to Conquest, as he depicts internal conflict, which by definition, is in close relation with Strife. Fury however, bears very little in common with her corresponding Horseman, Famine. And I will say again I am not RUDE :)
