So i am fairly new to dota 2 and i have trying to play difficult heros to learn more. When i first played bloodseeker my friend told me to get a forcestaff. It was not on the guide i was using so i asked him why. He said used in combination with my ult, rupture, i could make people move to deal more damage. I was thinking of Puck's ult dream coil. It does doamge and stun when used, and damage and a stun when broken. I was thinking would it be a good idea to get a forcestaff on puck to make an enemy break the dream coil to deal a stun and extra damage. Is this a viable option?
Although there are better items, in theory its a fairly useful item on him. Puck is all about mobility and difficulty to lock down, so not only could you forcibly cause an enemy hero to get stunner and take damage with Dream Coil, it also adds to Puck's mobility. However, its much more viable for a support to get it, in which case you as Puck can concentrate on a better item, and have them force people to get stunned by Puck's ulti.

PS. I still don't like Force Staff on Bloodseeker, because he already has great mobility, so it really ONLY gives you forced damage with Rupture. I'd rather give him damage, unless he's built in a more semi-support, semi-carry way.
that depends, do you want to break the dream coil so you damage and stun them a little bit? or do you want to hold them in place for your team to follow up?
I'm in the same boat as the S.S. Spectre (Yes, I just went nautical). Except I'd probably be a bit more critical on the choice, especially if you chose it over a blink dagger.

Dream coil is capable of affecting multiple targets. Let's suppose you catch 3 people in the coil; you'll only be able to force staff one of them. Whereas with blood seeker rupture only affects 1 target.
However, it does add to pucks mobility and evasiveness. Not the worse idea I've ever heard to tell you the truth.
Could work, but as stated before, better off getting the blink dagger for the more useful initiation and mobility. You want to try to keep the targets stuck in the dream coil so your team can maximize damage, can help land big follow up ults as well such as Epicenter or Ravage to name a few. All in all, it's better to use the gold towards something better on puck like a linkens, shivas, sheep stick, even a dagon is viable on Puck.
