So is Legion Commander or Ember Spirit coming out on this update?

There is an update coming probably in a week or two that will be releaseing Legion Commander and Ember Spirit

Legion commander has been in progress for almost a year now, so when someone throws some in-client in-poor-state textures on dummy models it doesn't necessarily mean "Coming Soon". Sorry bud, but don't get your hopes up. Personally I don't think we'll have any heroes until after The Greeviling, I'm confident that they won't skip it because they have a lot invested in it already, especially with eggs and greevils in invos. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I don't know if Valve can afford to wait that long. we've already gone 4 months with no new heroes, and seeing the way people are reacting to Valve's lack of Diretide, I can't imagine they'll be happy waiting another month before new content is released.

And if Valve decides to skip the Frostivus event too... It won't be pretty.

Yeah I posted that earlier on in the thread, but it isn't a sing of an update necessarily. It's showing Xin, which means progress has been made on him, but LC is still rocking her model from a year ago, which means Wykrym (the guy that took the picture) is playing a test version of the game that isn't available for a lot of people.

If you've seen any of the files in the latest update, it's far more likely we'll end up getting Xin/Earth Spirit along with Storm Spirit's visual update rather than Legion Commander, but then again, maybe she'll come before the Spirit patch, but if I had to guess I'd say that she is being shipped alone rather than in a duo-hero patch.

Diretide sounds dumb...

I don't get why people are so mad about it.

I would rather a separate map. Perhaps something with 2 or 4 lanes.
