Does everyone think Huskar is a bit OP? I want your opinion.

No, he is not. A good lineup can kill him easily. Silencing him will make him unable to cast his Inner Vitality. Life Break can be easily countered by having Blade Mail. If you stun him, he is as good as dead. Disarming with Heaven's Halberd also works.

EDIT - Aw, oops, wrong words used. He is not that OP, I think all heroes can be OP, given some conditions.

Just because he is counterable doesn't mean he isn't OP. Against some lineups, there is just no way to deal with him. Ghost Scepter + Berserker's Blood makes him pretty much unkillable unless you are Timbersaw. Even then, a BKB will stop enemy Blademails and Timbersaw.

Blade Mail counters him to a point, besides that, killing him using magic is impossible.

I bet he's playing backgammon with Anti-Mage every Sunday.

He can be really, really hard to deal with some lineups. You need to stall wich means that you will lose some towers to their 5 man group, dont fight him unless you catch him alone and you have enough stuns. Or if you have a chance to initiate the fight really well.

Around 30 minutes, huskar will lose power and other carries can beat him. The time that it takes for him to lose power depends on how many kills he has, so if you fed him he can dunk you even if the game takes 50 minutes.

Or if you see a huskar being picked pick a hero with phisical or pure damage that can fight pretty early. Minus armor is also great. Templar assasin can kill him really fast, but huskar still burns trough refraction, so it depends who is the better player. Ursa can manfight anyone so he can be a good pick. Troll warlords ult gives your team a lot of phisical damage so that can work. Outworld devourer dishes out pure damage after he gets levels so that can work. Timbersaw eats huskar during the midgame. Slardar can remove his armor and bash him down. Bristleback does a lot of phisical damage, including the spikes. And riki cloud into a lot of backstabbs.
Also be sure to have some stuns to control him.

As for items, medallion and blademail can screw up huskar.

As people said, there are heroes that do well against him. A lot listed however I'd like to add Dazzle to the bunch, all his spells are physical, his Grave prevents the tunnel-vision dunk and his heal can keep him alive against the burning spears while laning.

What really bugs me is when they wait to pick huskar, and it's too late to pick something that works well vs him :(

Put a Dazzle against him in mid lane and he's done. Actually, I think Dazzle directly counters him throughout all the game as it makes low-health fights between him and your team's carry much easier. Talking about the Ghost Scepter, it doesn't last much and I believe he can't throw his Burning Spears against BKB'd enemies

No, the spears don't work against magic immunity, although he can attack while in ethereal form using the spears if I remember well.

Huskar upsets me because I can not use a Dagon on him to secure the kill. The best counter to him is SB IMO. Spirit Breaker can keep Huskar stunned and then his team can eat up Huskar

Yes, he can attack with the spears in ethereal form (by actually casting them, not autoattacking): that's why I always buy a Ghost Scepter when playing Huskar unless there's a Zeus on the enemy team.

I've never thought about it, but permastunners might be a good counter to Huskar: Troll Warlord, Skull Basher-holding carries ( Anti-Mage, Ursa etc.) and maybe even Tiny could do the job.
