Has anyone else just gotten that string of games where you get a ton of bars and it just gets you to that boiling point and you basically just say f&@$ it and abandon or rage.

This leads me to a couple things:
1.) they need to fix the matchmaking system; it's too broad, something like starcraft 2 would be fantastic, or hell even league-esque
2.) can I just wait out low priority? At this point I just really don't care, I'm getting to that borderline wanting to uninstall the game and take an extended break.

Anyone relate? Or any info on if I can just let low pro expire
Step 1: Pick Bristleback
Step 2: type in all chat:"GL hf"
Step 3: solo offlane
Step 4: first blood triple kill solo vs trilane
Step 5: continue head butting keyboard
Step 6: don't care, Bristleback doesn't give a ****
Step 7: screenshot repeated: BB OP comments in all chat
Step 8: alternate games with Slark pick

Take a break from Dota. When I'm getting tired of the game I have back up casual games that I play with my dota friends. We stream super meat boy, play L4D2, Borderlands... Anything cooperative. It brings you closer to your friends and alleviates that pressure to win that often comes with dota.

Aww, don't quit the game, you'll get over it.

Well, you can do what I did and make another account and start over, scoring wins with pub heroes like drow and SB to get to a relatively high matchmaking level and then get back to your normal heroes. You'll have to do the tutorials though, but you can skip them (sort of) with some console commands.

I do understand though, just got out from a 12 losing streak. I decided to group up with my team IRL and we're currently scoring a winning streak of 5.

EDIT: Also, the matchmaking system is really hard to "fix". Not to mention what they say is the way it works is vague. Like already stated, you could just play other games for a while or just pubstomp with 4 friends.

"When game is going full ******, you can only go with it. If you start going against it, if you start going half ******, you´re ****ing done for. When Aloha decides to go middle rubick you let him, and you start buying orb of venom on invoker. That's how dota works" -n0tail

Thanks for all the positive responses, I ended up playing God of War 3 for a bit of sheer badassery, just hulk smashing everything in sight, pretty damn fun.
Also, I may try the Russian or different servers in general just to dabble, because that does sound pretty interesting.

I did boot up a new account and I'm probs gonna rikimaru through the first handful of levels with an xp boost too get up my levels in my alt a bit.

Playing the tutorial was kinda fun, it's good they force people to play it in a sense it's very informative to newer players, they should definitely try to put an emphasis on warding though, but it's pretty cool to just appreciate the effort they e put into trying to make it new player friendly.

Thanks all, and Angelo, I'm hoping to see your team in MLG, you guys as I stated in a message in steam, would definitely be a damn good contender in that series.

I started playing solo queue and not giving a damn if I win or not. I'm currently on a 10 solo queue win streak, it's pretty good.
