Abaddon, refresher

In a pub situation how viable is a refresher orb on Abaddon, just thinking the double ult could be really great in a team fight especially if your opponents are the type to keep attacking even when your ult goes off.

If he actually has enough money to get Refresher Orb? No.

When you would seriously consider an item as expensive as that, you're basically carrying or your whole team is rich and you guys just won't end the game.

In the first case, rather than going defensive, getting a heart or skadi would be better, and if you're just this support who claims to still be a support carrying 5000 or so gold then Scythe might be a better choice, that's if it's really late in the game and you're relying on your carry to win fights.

In the second case, go end the game for god's sake.

You now realize that Borrowed Time has a CD of 60/50/40 seconds, and that Refresher Orb has a cooldown of 160 seconds, so you'll get very little out of it for comparable cost to Heart of Tarrasque, Assault Cuirass, Scythe of Vyse, and Shiva's Guard. If you're that rich, get something that you can actually use.

I wouldn't recommend Refresher Orb on Abaddon... it's just not viable.

For Starters, Abaddons Cooldowns are very low, his Ultimate is no exception.
Mist Coil = 5 seconds (all Levels)
Aphotic Shield = 6 seconds (Level 4)
Borrowed Time = 40 seconds (Level 3)

that's not even 1 Minute!
While Refreshers Cooldown is almost 3 minutes...

You have your ultimate ready 3 times, whiles your Refreshers is on Cooldown (if you activate your ultimate right when it Comes of CD)

Refresher is meant for high cooldown Ultimates, like Ravage or Black Hole

And if your opponents are really stupid enough to Keep hitting you while your Ultimate activates (clear visual and Sound effect!) then you only Need one activation per teamfight.

other than that, Refresher gives Abaddon like nothing...
He doesn't Need 200% mana regen, 5 HP/sec, and a bit of intelligence... the 40 damage is nice, but there are more viable Options for damage increase.

Like Samukobo said, if you got that many Gold, buy a Heart -> Strength, flat health and HP-regen. and the Strength part gives you additional Damage and HP :D
