Matchmaking

What the hell is going on with matchmaking at the moment! I keep getting put in with level 1-10 it's ridiculous. I've got almost 500 wins and am being used to balance out teams of noobs against teams who all have 200-300 wins. It's gg before the game even starts. It's unfair on these new players as well since they are being forced to play against opponents who know the game well. Really frustrating especially as I'm trying really hard at the moment to get my win/loss ratio back in the positive {i'm like -17).

Anyone else having this happen to them?

There are players with 500+ wins that are playing with people with 5 wins in the party. That way, the people with 5 wins get there.

I've been noticing this a lot too. My friend and I were even in a Compendium match with a Lina playing her 2nd player match...

There's an influx of newer players since DOTA was recently released so more access is being opened. There's probably way more new players waiting to play a game than the more experienced players!

I'm still in my "The Witcher 2" Playthrough... I need to find some time to play Dota2... and finally gain some much needed levels :D

And there is still "The Last of Us" waiting... oh the pain of a full-blood gamer :D

See that's what I thought, but at the time of writing there are currently 283,000 players online. That's about normal if not a little low.
