Always thought Io's tether gave a flat bonus. No wonder why it's scary fast.

On a side note, wasn't there another magical damage type other than universal? If I recall correctly, Poison Sting, Geostrike, and Gnoll poison damaged through magic immunity and left ethereal units unharmed in WCIII DotA.
