I don't know, that's just what I'll call it... but like my main point in the previous thread, I am mostly concerned with average movement speed heroes that are melee who don't have any real ranged form of harassment.

So, I came up with this build and have been using it on centaur war runner, and wow, it actually seems to do the trick, and is really powerful.

Items gotten in this order

-Tranquil boots (start with ring of regen and 2 armor ring) (40 movement speed)
-Power Treads

-MoM (30% movement speed)
Farm Creeps
-Crystalis
Farm creeps

-Boots of travel (100 raw movement speed)
-Daedius

-Yasha (10% movement speed)
-Sange and Yasha (12%)

The end result is you have...

Tranquil Boots, Power Treads, Boots of Travel, Sange and Yasha, MoM, and Daedius.

having all 3 of these boots seems noob but it pretty much owns...

The Tranquility boots can be sold off once boots of travel are gotten though...

Replace the boots of travel with a blade mail and Now I think you have the ultimate natural offensive escape approach...

You can use the mask of madness to escape, and with all the base movement + % movement it will be super fast but you can pop blade mail and by taking 30% more damage you should, in theory, reflect 30% more damage back at the opponent.

*I think the tranquil boots is still always useful for double edge.... maybe the power treads could be switched out for an urn... for better double edge?

His ulti is for initiation, you don't need speed on him. Why do you go crit on a hero that has pitiful auto attack? Centaur isn't a dps hero. MoM just makes him lose his advantage in his tankyness. SnY, you don't need auto attack, you build him tanky for a reason.

Centaur Warrunner is a tanky initiator. He can deal a lot of damage, but he'll never be a real carry.

Well, you have to remember that attacking is also a way to tank...

When I say MoM, it gives a percentage bonus for movement speed.

Satanic on the other hand gives 25% life leach

Daedius has a percentage to crit

Mask of madness would be gotten after satanic and daedius

When you are in a battle and you hit your satanic, you want as many crits to go off as possible so that you life leach on the crits.

I don't personally believe life leaching on crits makes sense, but it is the way it is and that's what you should do with him to tank the best.

Unforunately, as the old wisdom goes and yet hasn't been properly implemented in todays games...

"The greatest defense is offense"

This isn't basketball where stealing a ball when an opponent is moving forward creates an opportunity to take advantage...

Problem is hes not a hard carry that deals good damage. Hes just super tanky. He doesn't have much offense. Without good support, Centaur gets zoned out hard in a lane.

You know what this sounds like? It's as if someone gave an English professor a detailed description of Dota but no mention of its metagame and didn't let him play the game, then told them to write a book on how to make it better.
My lone druid starting items are 12 Iron wood branches, 6 for the hero and 6 for the bear. Even if the bear does not get stats more twigs are OP on any hero.

What you just said has been said before.... it's a meme which you ironically mirrored in to this thread.

Anyways... since may 30th I have played 79 games with centaur war runner and am 39-40 atm... I'm really getting the hang of how to play now and realize the best way build him is to start with Tranquil boots + wand, start with hoof stomp and go back and forth between return and hoof stomp, then rest in to stats and stampede but double edge might still be useful at that point, but not my preference.

All the rest of his items are Strength and Movement Speed oriented... like Heart, Armlet, Sange and Yasha, skull basher. sell off wand for monkey king bar

Turn skull basher in to abyssal blade.

Sell off tranquil boots for boots of travel. (Added)

Try making this into a guide, maybe a lot of people will upvote it (no sarcasm, really). And maybe then this build might become the best build for Centaur Warrunner (again, no sarcasm). Also, a carry Centaur Warrunner might be the best way to play him and might even become viable into the metagame since he has all what it takes to become a 'true-blue' carry (seriously, no sarcasm). And your justification on having Tranquil Boots, Power Treads AND Boots of Travel is clearly correct, since you'd be able to look very powerful with those items in your inventory (there is no sarcasm in everything that I say, I swear).

Have a pleasant day, Kyfoid!

The movement speed on any kind of boots don't stack, so having the three together is kinda redundant?

This.

How can you consider him a carry when none of his skills (except return) scale into late-game? Sure it can work, but CK/Sven/Slar can play that role 100x better than Cent.

The only item Cent needs to do well is blink, so that he can initiate, get focused by the whole enemy team, while your team cleans them up (hopefully before you die).
