It won't win you the game... but Bounty Hunter + Dark Seer is hilarious in low skill games. Bounty goes invis and dark seer puts ion shell on him. If the opposition are too stupid to buy wards then you can get them to 50% before they realise what's going on, and then it's an easy kill.

shadow demon + clockwork is pretty amazing
good ol' lina + sandking or mirana + sandking is also quite powerfull
more of a fun combo (but very very powerfull if executed well) if u are with a friend: pugna + ogre magi or zeus ---> the burst is ridiculous
tidehunter + tiny is good, once tidehunter reaches 6 you can start ganking, tiny throws tide into group, tide uses ravage, then tiny comes in stuns and tide can anchor and gush low hp heroes
Earthshaker is pretty deadly when combined with a bursty hero. His fissure blocks the enemies path and stuns them while the other hero nukes them down.
Usually do a roaming ES with a bursty mid. Nothing like helping a Pudge get at least 5 kills less than 10 minutes in.
Earthshaker is probably the best initiator for any dual or trilane. Due to fissure causing the enemy to take a more lengthy path to safety.
A combo I randomly encountered with my friend is Skywrath Mage and Pugna. Both heroes have emplified magical damage, and when the both put their emplification on the same hero and even only sky throws his first ability, the guy is probably dead. Me and my friend randomed Sky and Pugna and had to lane together and really destroyed Silencer and Phantom Assassin which stood against us in the lane.
Kinda going off of Smuggels combo, a nice combo I like to use sometimes is Mirana and Shadow Shaman. lvl 1 shackles gives 3 seconds of lockdown then you throw out an arrow and they can't get away.
