Good Early Gankers

Hey,

Question:
Who are some heroes that are good gankers in the early to mid game?

Explaination:
I'm fairly new to Dota 2 (and all dota style games). I see to either be good or bad with heroes, not just average.

My 4 best heroes are:
Pudge
Slark
Wisp
Ogre Magi

I think it's because they are all good at ganking early (around level 6), and that's how I like to play. I don't seem to be any good at carrys, I just get smashed early and lose the game for my team.

So the question is, what are some other good early gankers?

Those a good gankers, some others would be Nightstalker, Batrider, Nyx Assassin, ect...

I'd say any hero that Valve does not label as "carry" or "semi-carry" can effectively gank in the early-mid game, although some are better at it than others. What might throw you off is that there are some semi-carries/carries that can also be played like a ganker like Slardar, Nightstalker and Slark, while some are relatively useless at ganking like Death Prophet.

Rule of thumbs for a good ganker: do you have a reliable lockdown/slow? Do you have skills that gives you good mobility (ex. more movement speed, Batrider's Firely, Sand King's Burrowstrike, etc.)? Do you have abilities that let you surprise the opponent? Do you have strong magical burst damage?

Tusk is a good ganker, Viper, Io, Queen of Pain for some more examples

Crystal Maiden, Vengeful Spirit, Nyx Assassin. imo

I say this mainly because i love viper but early game he is a great Ganker once you get your neither toxin and poison attack!

You could try Weaver, but you need a little practice with his skills first, as well as the right item build (not 30 minutes AFK farm radiance).

Other than that, you could try Nyx, Templar Assassin, Lion, Spirit Breaker, Bounty Hunter etc.

How could some1 farm Radiance for 30 minutes? :D
