Hello all. A newbie here.

I have a problem where my ASUS X71SL battery died and I replaced it with an exact replacement but not with all the hype printed on it. From day one, the battery preformed well and charged as required and then one day I kept getting the message that the battery was not recognised. Somehow, I fixed it and now the problem is back about 3 months has passed. I have checked all my drivers and BIOS and all are up to date. What can i do bar go and get ripped off with buying a ASUS X71SL batteria ?

For goodness sake, can not give us some code to fix this problem?

Eh, I would've taken it back to where you bought it the first day it acted like that. Is it a original ASUS battery or a cheap knock-off?
