Its been bugging me for as long as DotA 2 has been out, but Rubick has 6 abilities/spells & only 5 of which can be used, & I'd want to know if anyone knows what the 5th ability is for other than empty space because you can only spell steal 1 spell at a time, let me know thanks:)

So he has four main abilities, Telekinesis, Fade Bolt, Null Field and Spell Steal. The other two spell spots are for spells that can be activated and deactivated, or that has two actives, one example can be Morph Agility Gain. You can morph in agility and in strength, nevertheless, that will use the two available spell spots.

it's also for skills that require other skills to function. for example Shadow Fiend's Requiem of Souls, Necromastery is also copied. Another would be Luna's Eclipse, Lucent Beamwould be copied too.

No, you dont get Lucent Beam if you steal Eclipse...

Neither you get Necromastery.Rubick is always counted as having full souls.

If you copy Haunt you also get Reality.

Skills that have 'subskills' that let you control the spell better. For example, Wisp Spirits have 2 subskills after you activate it to help you control the spirits
