I mean if you were a Techies and an enemy had a Gem, you would get a Force Stick and push them in the mine, ultimately killing them and making them drop the Gem!

I'm not sure, but I heard Medusa was next. I'll be curious to see this hero, anybody play her in Dota 1?

I did play a fairly good Medusa in dota 1.She needs a lot of ricing but she has an amasing lane control with dat snake.After level 6,she becomes basicly ungankable with Petrifing Gaze

Yes to play Medusa you need to be extremely good at farming (lasthitting) and lane control to be useful late game. If she is next I will be very excited as I love playing Medusa, That Split Shot late game lets you farm hell fast, so if your underfarmed you can just raid the jungle with split shot and farm. She is very fun, very.
Here's some info from PD for the new to Dota
Medusa is a tank, both in durability and AOE damage, once she is fully leveled. Her early game consists of spamming Mystic Snake for gold and harass. Split Shot will become truly formidable after you've acquired damage item. You need to be in the center of team fights, as you can effectively output 300% damage with Split Arrow. Focus fire on you is mitigated by your Mana Shield for tanking and Stone Gaze which slows movement and attack speed, dispels status buffs and damage summon units.

The arrows deal only 45% of the damage you origianlly do.So its not a good idea to get those early game,mana shield and the snake are way better.

Yes, getting Split shot early is a very bad idea. You won't have enough damage output to deal enough damage. Say this:
In a team fight, what would you rather; 5 enemies on 50% HP
or at least 2 dead and the rest fleeing. Yep, the last one.

You mean goblin techies lol, Tinker is the annoying robot with lasers that destroys mid and somehow pushes all the lanes.
