Better Pub Games

Hi Guys,

Just a quick note for you mid - high skill level players.

I've started playing Random Draft ONLY recently, no AP mode anymore.
It's yielded much higher skill level games. As the team tends to both pick balanced line ups - 1/2 carries, 2 supports, 1 initiator.

It is also alternate pick. Great way to play pub, if you don't have the numbers for a 5 man. You still lose. but you're not at all annoyed about it, becuase the general skill level was much higher! :) try it out..

good idea, i find that all-picks are where the newbs, russians, ragers and tactically incompetent players congregate. drafts are much better with people playing supports and not just picking lots of hard carrys.

I played single draft to get to try new heroes, and I like that my team doesn't just become loads of carries, however I have been playing AP recently to play heroes I like (of course whilst considering team build).

Might go back to drafts though now I think about it, it did yield better team play.

yeah, I think you have your moments where it's like - ****et, I want to pubstomp with pudge haha or something like that -
but ye, just a pick up and play game, draft modes are really good..

I play every mod except CM, I play CM only when I have a five man team.

And whatever mod I play, I always have ******s in team, that's why I love five man team playing CM.
