DotA 2 Guides Are Here!!!!

We have completed the guide and build system on DOTAFire and just now launched it on the site!! You can head straight over and start playing with it, putting together your guides and builds!

virago is still hard at work filling out the database so you may notice a lot of stats are missing on heroes and items. The data will all be flooding in over the next week or two. You can create your guides now and as we fill in the database, your guides will automatically reflect the new data!

We have spent a solid chunk of time testing the builder but there are likely to be a few bugs to work out so consider it somewhat of a beta. If you spot any issues, bugs, mistakes, etc, let us know and we'll get on it right away!

Excellent System Matt. If it wasn't 4 in the morning I'd give it a try, but my head hurts looking at it. Looks amazing though. I'm glad someone is finally aboard managing the D2 Forums as it took a while.

I was wanting to build a team composition guide but noticed that I cannot add multiple heroes, only multiple builds for a single hero. Any chances of this being added in the future?

Also the item sorting is not in existence and would it be possible for you to at least add placeholder items for the ones that don't exist even if the stats and abilities are not there?

@FuSioN, we stand behind DOTAFire 100% :) But I admit our presence here hasn't been spectacular the last little while. However, we have a TONNE of surprises coming in the next few weeks for DOTAFire, we have big plans and we aren't gonna let up, so keep your eyes on the DOTAFire news :)

@Loveless, if there is enough demand for it we may come up with a way to add support for team guides. I will give it some thought.

Regarding items, is it confirmed that they're going to use all the items from DotA? We just don't want people to start building with items that don't make it into the final game. I suppose worst case I can just flag them as "deprecated" and leave them in for backwards compatibility.

Great! I'm coming back to DotA now that i'm in the beta and now with this guide system in dotafire i'm really excited for new guides!

It appears that Drow Ranger has a bug in her abilities section. Whenever you allocate points and save, it puts them all into stats except for one. Really weird bug.

EDIT: Never mind, apparently this is happening with any hero. What is going on? :(
