Here is an explanation of why I made some of these items and how I arranged them.
Explanation
I have the boots apart from everything else because almost always, you only buy one pair of boots per game. They are also grouped from the items they came from, Phase Boots, Tranquil Boots, Power Treads, and Arcane Boots. This is an attempt to allow all the types of boots to upgrade into the late game, so you don't have 4 people with Boots of Travel and 1 with Guardian Greaves every single game that goes on long enough.
The next category needs some explaining. In Dota as you all know, there are many progressions found such as anyone upgrading an Orchid Malevolence always builds it into a Bloodthorn. I think this is kind of stupid. Therefore, I have created an item for every single instance of this (barring perhaps consumables). Those items are in this second category. This was also the logic behind making the Magi's Attendant boots.
The third category contains items that do not fit into the other categories, but I still think should be in the game. Not much else to explain here.
If you want to see only the best, my favorite items here are the Hermes Wings, Stone of the Ripper, Shifter's Rod, Fiend's Claw, Inspector's Monocles, Arrow of Achilles, Bag of Holding, and the Luckstone.
If you are kind enough to suggest edits, my least favorite ones are the Woven Leaves, Lance of Wizards, Corrupted Foci, Stalker's Scimitar, and the Glittering Prison. If you have some thought to improve or change another item though, I would be glad to hear it as well.
Finally, thank you to pittman for inspiring the Inspector's Monocles and the Shifter's Rod.
