Yeah, their plays have been too nice I could believe it lol
I mean, they somehow beat C9 and kicked them out of TI 5 (which is sad btw, I like C9 unique play style)
And QO has constantly deliver crazy good plays, like that aegis snatch in storm and the TA yesterday, wow!

Well, somehow I'm rooting for coL here...
I really want to see them facing off against EG again at the end...

AND GET THEIR ***ES HANDED DOWN TO THEM LOL

I mean I've read melon's relation with PPD and it's just really amusing to see it through :p

Wut, mvp didnt play C9. They lost to CDEC and VG.

Man seems like VP will just crush complexity. They did suprisingly well in the group stage but they arent on that high level.
Swindle looks like one of the least inpressive mids in the tournament, sure every mid has been playing insane, but still. :P

Edit: ok comeback? Vp really crumbled for a while there.

**** I meant Empire lol

Yeah it was a comeback, that one teamfight changed the momentum to their favour! I though it was going to be a fricking stomp but no, that was one helluva game! Looking forward for the second game now :D

I think it's more of a drafting thing, than a comeback..

VP picked an extremely strong mid game lineup that fell off eventually. If you noticed, until the 30-35 minute mark, their teamfight was extremely strong. Once Gyrocopter and Bristleback had a couple of items, they had no response.

I'm not sure why they picked Razor. If they had a harder carry, they might have had a better chance. The Razor was pretty squishy once Gyro and BB had their core items.

No it isnt, people on dotafire always overrate the need for a lategame, razor crushed the bot lane against gyro. They were ahead a lot of gold because they had strong lanes but threw their lead. They really tilted at some points into the game.
If they played properly VP would have won.

I do agree that they could have won if they played properly, however, with a mid game lineup, all it takes is one bad teamfight. The changes to comeback gold a few patches ago make drafting a mid game lineup even more dangerous.. One bad roshan, one bad tower push, one bad teamfight, and suddenly, the game is even.. And then, the late game lineup just scales better..

The comeback gold changes sure make for exciting games, but they also have the consequence of making a mid-game centric lineup extremely risky.

Well sure but it wasnt just a single fight that lost them the game. After they lost one fight they got picked off multiple times and seemed to crumble. Then they got their **** together for a moment but they lost a fight again after repairing their gold lead and THEN it was too late to come back.

A team with strong lanes and midgame isnt much less viable because you MIGHT throw an almost 10K gold lead twice.

Once again, a comeback.. It's almost become a theme in TI5.. Lose the early game, let enemy get the lead, win a mid game teamfight, gain a TON of gold, win game..

Well complexity's gone
In all three games VP had been dominating complexity (even the first game they lost because they were caught off guard and couldn't get back their composure), but I thought at the last game complexity might have gotten themselves another comeback... until that eul got destroyed....
EFFICIENCY BE DAMNED!! <--- this is why I'll never do that kind of trick

Sorry Fedorable, your wish won't be coming true

Turns out Hon players really cannot do much in dota, yeah? XP
