It's as expected that they will win TI5.

Well, we'll see if they're truly poised to make a title run tommorrow, they'll be facing LGD, which will be their first big opponent so far. Well, IG didn't exactly put up much of a fight.

To be fair, you can possibly not ban all the heroes Secret are OP with.. Zai's brood is insane.. Zai's Tusk is insane.. Kuro's Rubick is crazy good.. Arteezy Gyro is damn good.. Arteezy SF is good.. S4 Puck is crazy good.. This is not even taking into account meta heroes like Bounty..

I think it might be better if teams start planning a strategy and trying to play to that strategy, rather than trying to block Secret's heroes, because, with 5 bans, it just isn't possible to deny them.. Their players are pretty damn versatile, and have more than 2-3 heroes on which they are individually on the next level compared to other teams..

In my opinion, it isn't the heroes.. It's more about Secret's coordination and objective based gameplay that seem so strong.. Everytime they win a teamfight, they seem to get a tower, or roshan, or get something out of it.. Their coordination just seems on a level superior to all other teams I've seen so far at the tournament.. The closest might probably be EG..

Actually that's becoming true of lots of the top teams. The list of heroes you want to ban is just huge;
Secret have probably multiple heroes on every single player that you want to get rid of, and yet you just can't.

EG have stuff like Sumail Storm, Universe Brood, Universe Dark Seer, Aui BH and Naga, PPD ES.

The top teams after a while build up massive repertoire of heroes that they are just godly on, and it becomes impossible to deny them everything they could want. And it only gets a bigger thing as the game continues and they become better players.

And yeah, Secret can out play any other team at TI5 in theory off of raw decision making and mechanical skill. The co-ordination on top of that is just next level, as is there positioning. EG are the team msot likely to beat them, because they are pretty close in teams of strength, but also because PPD is probably the only drafter who could potentially outdraft s4 and Puppey on a reliable basis.

Of course we have seen Secret LGD yet, so that'll be the acid test.

EG is doing that Offlane Enchantress that Kkoopman suggested a while ago here in the forum, with max Untouchable against VG.
