Why hate bottle? It's such a good item besides, if u want regen that badly, gt something I ke a linkens, which improve her survivability or even a naked preserverance
I like battle fury on TA, I can ccast Q skill non stop and have good damage and regeneration (I hate bottles). Why is it not popular item? I do not care about the cleave effect
Amazing guide. I know I'm pretty much just restating what everyone else have said, but this guide is perfectly formatted, informative, and, occasionally, funny. Templar Assassin is one of my favorite heroes (if not my favorite, Enchantress being my other favorite), and this guide is great. I've gotten pretty good at her on my own, yet this guide has improved my playing (especially in the sense of where to place her traps and her item build). This is possibly the best guide on this site.
I was considering making a guide on Lanaya myself, but there's no way I could top this; continue making guides!
With regards to his question, I agree with him. Why not max psi blades first instead of meld?
Your point is so that you can have max damage output when you catch up to your enemy, but from experiences, some people missed the attack from meld because of the lack of psi blade range. They meld and simply walk off without touching the enemy. It pretty much screws up TA's damage capability. Meld is good in its way, but I feel the psi blades range shouldn't be neglected. In fact 1 or 2 levels on meld is good enough in the early-mid game.
One other thing that I'm pointing out is the blink dagger on TA. This is just my opinion that I wanted to share. Also in regards to this guy's previous question, your response is that you will have psionic traps and phase boots to catch up to your enemy so there's no need for psi blades. But then since you can get close with your boots and ultimate, why the over-commitment on the blink dagger? One thing you might argue it's for escape, but as a hard ganker, you most probably will be with your teammates, you would gank or counter gank. And looking out for ganks when you're alone, as your guide stated, you will place traps on important paths and routes to check for incoming ganks. You could save yourself very well with these, so blink dagger is something I feel a bit overrated. Yes, again it is a good item, but I still don't feel the worth to get it. With 2150 gold, I could already go for half of my core item like desolator. It provides better killing capabilities rather than blink dagger, which only offers greater movement capability but no damage. Just a thought.
The utility of Blink dagger is unparalleled, especially for a hero that is so position-orientated. If a teamfight starts it allows you to blink meld crit a squishy support that was staying "safe" in the back of the teamfight. Honestly I would still buy this item if it cost 5,000 gold. (On TA anyway)

If your team doesn't buy an Animal Courier and you have enough money left over, well, it's up to you then. Yes, it will hurt your ganks and rune-whoring, but having a courier is vital to any serious game and it will be better for your team in the long run if you buy it.
In all seriousness, you've driven me to love playing Lanaya. I'd been looking for a new character to master, and Lanaya was perfect for what I wanted; fun, but also not too piss-easy.
Thanks, loved the guide. ;)

Cost: 170+ gold

you missed the ****** **** over here

Bigger damage increase, the range isn't that important since you can get close with Phase Boots and Psionic Trap
