As I was reflecting on my 1.5 years of being part of the DOTAfire community, I realized that I have many people to thank for it. Let's just say that I have been part of DOTAfire for as long as I've played DotA, and most of the skills I've learnt have come from here. So this is a giant thank-you letter for some of the people that influenced me the most. Sando
How do you make so many guides? Like seriously, how? I remember my first time ever on DOTAfire, I was looking for a Lich guide. Obviously I clicked the first one (ofc it's Sando's) and read it. I was like... "this is a good guide!" so I clicked on your profile to see if you had more.
My reaction: "Whoa."
I then began reading every guide of yours, watching you publish more as I read. I just want to thank you for publishing so many awesome guides that brought me to where I am today.
Special Mentions: A full support guide: Beginner to Intermediate, An Universal Item Guide.

When I wasn't reading Sando's guides, you were the people that I read guides from. I'd like to especially mention Atlas's "Learning the Ropes: A beginners guide to DotA" guide. It was one of the first I read, and helped me immensely on the learning cliff of DotA.
Bunkansee
You are awesome. I don't know how I'm ever supposed to thank you for how you've helped me. Seriously, I want to thank you for being the first person to comment on my first post, chatting with me through PM, and last be definitely not least, editing my guides.
Cheers!
Porygon361 Yzreel
I remember looking at Yzreel's signature and seeing some hero ideas, so I went ahead and clicked it... and loved it. It was the first hero idea I saw, ever.
I quickly flew through the rest of his ideas (he only had 5-6 at the time), and the comments.
And when I got to the comments, I realized that there were more hero ideas in signatures. Porygon361 was his name.
Now it took my a bit longer to go through Pory's ideas, but I specifically remember the one with the ultra-destruction ult that did damage to everyone except for the people under your Q.
I'd like to thank both of you for inspiring me to create my own hero ideas, it's an honour to compete against you two in the upcoming FoC.

When I wondered to myself, "when did I start to give back to the community?" I realized that the turning point between just absorbing and giving back was our "Collective Hero Idea."
The process was amazing. Although we did have some time issues, I had lots and lots of fun deciding which skill to keep, who writes the lore, etc. I'd like to thank all of you for kickstarting my contributions to DOTAfire, which I hope will continue on.

Thank you so much, mods, for keeping DOTAfire a friendly and safe environment that I could, and other can, grow in learning and skills. Thank you for keeping the site spam-free, I understand that's a lot of hard work. Thanks!

The Forge of Creation has been something that I not only work hard on, but I look forward to too! Some of the greatest dedication and effort have been shown through the FoC, and I'd like to thank you two for organizing it.

What am I supposed to write to such an artistic and iconic figure in DOTAfire? Thanks for the signatures, it's a good way to put your gifts to use!

What would a thank you letter be without a mention to our very own Mathemagician? Your sarcasm and insight is much appreciated, as well as your mustaches.
More so the sarcasm and mustaches. <|8{D
