Essentially thread title explains it. It was my first ever game as Clock, and I kinda want someone else to look over it since I wasn't as trashy as I thought I'd be.
I know some of the major things I did wrong; I miss timed Cog's a couple of times and lost kills as a result (The Doom one in the jungle early was one), I mis-skilled and got a second early point in Cogs, and I did dive into some situations without thinking.
But was there anything else major that people saw that they'd say need immediate improvement on for any people who were kind enough to look over it.
(Pls don't pay too much attention to how trashy my skill bracket is atm, because I'm aware it is).
Thoughts on the stuff you mentioned as you mentioned it;
I didn't know you could cog block and force the creeps to move under the tower, the only spot I knew of was further back about halfway between the tier 1 and tier 2, and I knew I wouldn't get that timing so I just went for a really bad body-block instead.
Missing CS; Yeah, I knew that. I'll be practicing my last hits a lot on him, I just kept missing the rhythm a tad.
Creep Momentum, and going back to block; That's probably the main thing I just forgot to do. I don't get to offlane much (Well by much, that was I think the first solo offlane game I've played, I've done like ES supporting an offlane, but never solo offlane), so doing that just slipped my mind.
Second point in cogs; That was just a misclick, I meant to put it into rocket. I didn't actually notice till like 30s afterwards. If I hadn't done that I'd have gone 1-1-4-1 by 7, since with my lack of confidence of hitting Hooks, I figured that the vision and being able to constantly give our lanes momentum, and the chance to snipe fleeing enemies would be more valuable.
Not rotating when I hit six; I just burnt my mana too early, (Rushing bottle would've been a better choice than getting my boots there I think, since I wasn't in any real danger in that lane). In hindsight, I should've just gone back to base, healed up and gotten a TP, and then made stuff happen, and definately something I'll be doing in the future.
My random stops; That's actually because my mic doesn't work on windows 8 thus I have to type instead. Okay at some point it is my internet as well, but a lot of it is me typing. It's irritating, but it's something that will stop once I get a new working headset. The thing with the Doom was just me thinking that hookshot stun at level 1 lasted longer than it did thus mis-timing cogs.
Jumping in and dying a lot; I think a lot of those were me trying to show that I could hit to hooks as a like confidence boost for the first game, rather than the being sound game choices.
But yeah, thank you for running over it, twas more than I expected. Glad to know there wasn't anything glaringly wrong with it

you block just infront of tier 2 and beat out the back cog then beat out the front one and run up to tier 1 and go inbetween the tower and trees on the right and cog again. if done correctly the range creep should be going first then after like a 4 second spread a melee will be going and then once the final 2-3 creeps come along so if done well you will actually have a full two waves of safe XP which gives you level 2 and headstart in lane.

all good i think i mentioned it a few times :) playing with creep aggro and equilibrium takes a lot of time until you can work it like a guitar but even just a standard hey forcestop block helps with the lane a little.

i would have said 2-1-2-1 would have been better but its all up to the player. a watched some of your flares the only thing i can say is : take into account travel time, flares move at around 700ish ms so to go from one side to the other takes around 5-6 seconds so try to lead the flare for that.

pretty much. ill upload a clock game i did in a scrim later tonight and explain somethings but as soon as i got 6 i started looking for rotations and moving around the map. its important you maximise your timing window.

that kill on doom would have got you a whole lot always try and lead the cogs a bit or just use them straight away.

yea haha i think i mentioned that a bit its the a hard mentality to get out of but once you do you will play a lot better. also remember to cancel the hookshot since it has a 0.7ish cast time so u can cancel it in animation.
