My advice is simple. I have almost 100 games with Pudge, and i can say that if you want to win your lane, all you have to do is to practice. Wining your (mid) lanes means that you have to kill your (mid) enemy.
That means 2 things: 1)Pick Pudge against certain lineups 2)Practice your hook. If you accomplish this 2 rules, you already won your lane.

If you are staying in lane until level 2 and roaming, then thats called roaming pudge not mid pudge isn't it

Laning/winning lane is not pudge's objective.
