During the last 13 years as an educator, I have been very actively engaged in the field of data science and cybersecurity, with Machine Learning, deep learning, and Natural Language Processing as its core. My work has evolved from creating systems that are geared towards the protection of information to the creative use of AI for active threat monitoring. I enjoy in my current position as an Experienced Education Mentor bringing the younger cohorts of data scientists and cyber-security professionals. I try to realize this by teaching students how to combine these two areas of knowledge, with a focus on practice and creativity rather than theory. Practical knowledge together with basic theory is the only way to approach such fast-changing professions.
