DotA2 Skill: Reverse Polarity

I know that, but somehow I think that Magnus has a better usage than Enigma overall. nvm.

When you pick heroes, you don't look at a perspective of "black hole vs reverse polarity". You look at what the hero as a whole provides to the team and if that's what you're looking for.

How are Tidehunter and Death Prophet walking ults? So early-game immortality, slow, AOE damage red, 4 sec cd nuke, and AOE silence do not matter? Pls.

Magnus isn't just a walking ult a la Tidehunter/ Death Prophet/ Doom. Don't forget his insane burst damage and early game ganking ability.

Shockwave : 300 magic burst on a 7 second cooldown. Typically uses it twice in a gank = 600 magic burst
Skewer : 280 magic burst AND a 40% slow that lasts 2.5 seconds AND push enemies out of position

When you add his ~900 magic burst to his slow AND 3 second stun...he's one of the best gankers in the game. And he can build right-click and BKB on top of his blink-refresher so he scales as a damage-dealer as well.

Sir Rats is right, Black Hole has a range, is overall easier to use, and does way more damage (especially with Aghs and Midnight Pulses). Unscathed, once again, you're looking at an ability in a Vacuum like you did with Geminate Attack a while back. Magnus's skill set is basically a pure initiator (with some support with Empower). Enigma is a pusher, can jungle early, can turtle bases better, has a low cooldown stun, of course Black Hole has to be weaker than Reverse Polarity.

Magnus is the most late game oriented initiator. Lowest cooldown and strongest stun, but that's really all he does. He is extremely focused, and quite possibly the 2nd biggest walking ult in the game (its really obvious who the 1st is). Thus, it better be an awesome ult.

Reverse Polarity is harder to use, Black Hole gives more damage,and has very good synergy with Enigma's skill set.

Why do people prefer black hole over this?
