Now before I go any farther into this build I'd like to say one thing, this is a semi-carry semi-support / carry build. If you are okay with that and want to keep your team alive, make some faceless viod's angry and get some unexpected kills then you're at the right place! This build is all about getting big, mean, and dominating team fights. Get ready for some serious malpractice.
Now I like to start us off with an alteration of Paralyzing Cask and Maledict up to Lvl 5. The reason I do this is because your mana pool as of early game is quite limited and you need it for some stuns and curses. After you get Death Ward I like to get Maledict to level 4 as even though you get more bounces with a higher level stun if you can land your Maledict its going to be a much easier kill. After this I max out Paralyzing Cask and go for Death Ward at level 11. Now you max Voodoo Restoration, once into stats and get that level 3 Death Ward. Okay so now I'll explain to you how to use these abilities and when to use them. If you can find one guy in your lane get your teammate through down Paralyzing Cask get Maledict on them right click them a few times and it should be a easy kill early and mid game. Now though I usually don't do this and don't like doing thing sometimes after you use
Paralyzing Cask and Maledict I use Death Ward, now this is only if you are facing their carry or a really beefy *** hero. If it is their carry make sure to have a friend with you.
Paralyzing Cask is also a great escape mechanism, if you are being chased hit them with that Cask and you can very well get away. I've run from the edge of the enemy team's base back to ours and survived thanks to Cask, I was being chased by 3 people so without the bounces I'd very well had been dead.
Yes
-If you don't have a nuker or semi-carry on your team
-When you do have at least one support preferably Treant Protector or Omni
-When the enemy team has a Faceless Viod, not getting caught in Chronos Sphere and dropping Death Ward on the edge can result in a rampage if you're lucky
Don't even try
-You have a semi-carry and or nuker
-Your team if filled with idiots and you don't have a support
-You are **** at w=Witch Doctor
Your starting items, three Iron Branches, one tango set, and two Clarities. You should immediately start building magic wand as it's a life saver early and mid game. Once you got your wand start build Urn of Shadows. It's a great item as a heal and can seal the deal early game on kills, Cask into maledict into urn can get you some great kills. Once you're all done with that get your mana boots, late game if you can get your bloodstone they wont be as core but they're good for your team and always nice to have. Now the real fun begins. Aghanim's Scepter, at level three Death Ward thats 150 damage per hit and 4 bounces. Yeah, I know. Your Agh's shouldn't be too hard to get if you have some constant kills and will just make those kills more and more constant. Now you get your blood stone. Around now you'll have 2000 health and 2000 mana with it (level 16-20 is that point) and this is when your mana boots fall off in the core section. I'm not going to really explain luxury items because I personaly haven't gotten to any of them because by the time I have them someone built or ready to be built We've already won.
