Starting Items:
Block harass damage in the early game.
Basic stats to help boost your stats in the early stages of the game.
A little regen to help you get to your bottle in the early game.
Early Game
Runes in the early game will help your ganking and help you stay in lane.
Get an early pair of boots to help your ganking.
Honestly the most cost efficient item in the game. Burst heal and good stats.
Gives you great block. This makes up for your lack of hp.
Core
This will give you max speed, and the famous unit walking.
Great stats and gives Slark max movespeed when hes not seen, and gives Slark the HP that he needs.
Slark has lots of armor from stealing Agi, so lets cancel out his weakness, magic. When he has BKB on he will be a hard hero to bring down.
Pros:
Great Ganker
Dark Pact (OP)
Good Escape MechanismCD is low
Cons
Squishy in the early stages
Pounce is hard to land, but PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Dark Pact
Use this not for the damage, but for the debuff. It will be extremely useful when your enemies decide to get dust. You only need one level of this, and put the remaining points into stats.
Pounce
Slark's main damage source in the early stages of the game. Excellent for ganking so max it first and ASAP.
Essence Shift
Slark's bread and butter. His stat steal gets him extra 3 damage and 3 attack speed every time he hits a hero.
Shadow Dance
This is a great spell. It works as an active and a passive. When your not seen by enemy units, u gain crazy movespeed and regen. When you acivate it and the enemy has no true sight, you will regen and get movespeed for 7 seconds. You can hit while ShadowDancing and it will not cancel the invisibility.
