With treant I like to start off with boots of speed and attempt to gank and get first blood. It may sound ridiculous getting first blood with treant, but with this build it can happen quite a lot. You want to use your first skill on leech seed and your first item should be boots of speed because you are too slow to gank without them. Before the game starts, you want to hurry and hide in the forest and wait until the enemy creeps push so you can get behind the enemy heroes. then you leech seed one of them, and kill them before they get away.
