Horrible item choice no matter how you justify it. You're taking a squishy rightclick carry and giving her an easily countered invis and -30% effective health for a little damage.

They buy dust you're dead. Only way to even sustain a mask of madness is use it 6 seconds early, to sync up with your mask of madness ending after silence. That way you don't get 2 shot'd.

Bkb after mask of madness is the only way ........ otherwise mask of madness is just awful. Armlet is better.

Had this build used on me last night, except the person using it didn't have the Shadow Blade in their inventory. This build is fast and hard hitting, but the big drawback is its squishiness, which is why I'm recommending the Shadow Blade as a definite MUST for a build like this.
