Item Guide
So the first big question, why the hell am I just carrying a ton of Clarities?
Pretty simple, Zeus is an ungodly (hehehe) early game harasser with a solid laning partner. That's why I build my arc-lightning and static field much more than most guides in the early game. Pound your clarities, spam your arc lightning, and rake in those LHs and a few early game kills. (If you can lane with Centaur, do so)
After that I shoot straight for my Tranquil Boots. These provide a little regen, some movement speed, and most importantly, a quick heal. Zeus is squishy, and dangerous. People WILL try and kill you early and often. Tranquils have saved my *** more often than I care to remember.
Then we go straight for Oblivion Staff, obvious reasons. Then get your Perserverance, then Another Oblivion Staff and turn it into an Orchid Malevolence. You are now a beast. Get ring of Aquila sometime you score a kill and have some extra gold to burn, it's a bonus but not necessary.
And this is what it all comes down to, get your Sceptre. Team fights, wandering solo heroes, no one is safe. Let your team harass, pound some enemies, and when they run, murder them.
Skill Build
Arc Lightning - This is a truly amazing skill when paired with Static Field. Plink away a little damage on 15 units, plus 11% of their total health every 2 seconds? That's what I'm talking about. Spam it, pour it on. I get 50% of my kills with Arc Lightning, for good reason.
Lightning Bolt- This is your Nuke, use it after you've whittled away with Arc Lightning a few times and your laning partner or carry (in a teamfight) is pounding on your target.
Static Field- 11% of their total health. Every. Time. Nuff said.
Thundergods Wrath- One of the few global Ults, this is a tricky one. With the Sceptre you are doing close to 1k DMG to every hero on the map, use it wisely. I see a lot of people dropping this at the beginning of team fights, don't. Save it. When their DPS is wounded and running, and their assassin has gone invisible and is leaving the aftermath of your team battles, that's when you drop it turning 2 or 3 dead heroes into 5. That's when you push over a tower and roll over the base before they respawn.
A note, you WILL killsteal, it's inevitable. Don't do it intentionally but it WILL happen. Get over it.
