imho rushing a satanic (after armlet and whatever boots) is one of the best builds. My huskar is usually initiating teamfughts and i try to eat many skills and disables (wit IV on). There are not many things in dota as satisfying as falling to 5% of health because of being constantly disabled until your team can catch up to you initiation and then healing back to full in 5 seconds with that active of satanic. Also the general 25% LS are noticably better than 15 fom hotd.
Another thing I like to do is roshan after i have hotd and Armlet. If you play it carefully you can kill rosh just with armlet toggling (having the hotd +5 Armor helps too).
Its not the super early roshan but its still a nice thing to do.
Do burning spears damage Roshan? because i see the 10 stacks but it dont know if they do dmg.
Can you slightly update some of the sentences to reflect that burning spear is not a unique attack modifier anymore?
Done.
spoiler : etheral huskar does not work anymoar
It "does not work" in the sense that you cannot throw burning spears while in ethereal form. Other than that the ethereal blade is still usable as in the shotgun build outlined here - you use it to put your opponent in ethereal form before you lifebreak them, thus dealing a good whack of extra damage (and you can use a dagon to finish them off).

Your ganks will be SLOWER will your build. You rely on DoTs, and the fact your opponent will hopefully fight back. If they decide to just run and not fight you, you'll be stuck with 100% HP, and a pathetic damage output. If you instead get stats, and not level your ultimate, your HP will drop drastically, allowing you to output a lot of damage and gank quickly. Lifesteal is only there for when they fight back to keep you ALIVE while still maintaining a low HP percentage.
Furthermore, Blade Mail isn't really a counter to Huskar. Stuns counter Huskar, and because of this, Huskar must build a BKB to counter himself from being stunned. BKB blocks Blademail damage, thus blademail is trash. (Blademail outputs the PURE damage type, which ignores magic resistance, but is blocked by magic immunity)
Lifesteal KEEPS you at that juicy low HP number.
If you don't have it, you'll quickly die. Armlet toggling only works early game, mid and late game, people simply deal too much damage to toggle, you have to survive without it.
lifesteal items are a waste on huskar, you want to lose health (to a point) so your DPS and magical resist are high enough, lifesteal is will prevent you from aquiring a large amount of DPS needed to quickly kill someone, its pretty easy to see in a real match as you can stack more burning spears on with higher DPS and without you will have less stacks and overall do less damage... armlet toggling and going mid for a bottle + urn is how you get health.... get one kill and thats 400 health back, and thats just from the Urn. when you consider bottle + natural regen from armlet + extra health from armlet being on in a gank/fight... the stacks in your urn will fill rapidly and being in mid should allow you the run control to use your bottle very effectively for health.
Actually lifesteal isn't such OP thing that will keep you on full health whole game and don't let you stack your passive. Lifesteal is good on
