The Frozen Ward Bitch - Quick Guide

Why and How

My CM build centers around giving CM the mobility she needs to succeed. This involves getting up your phase boots and force staff as soon as you reasonably can while still keeping up adequate ward coverage when needed and upgrading courier etc.

You generally will lane in a babysit & stack/pull position in the safelane supporting a farming carry. This necessitates picking up sentry wards to start incase you need to deward the pull camp. Pulling after 6.79 will require alot of pull throughs so I went with a double tango build instead of getting a salve.

The most valuable skill on CM is frostbite by far. Please focus on leveling this up as fast as possible as at level 4 the 3 second duration is a really long time and will really increase the success of gank attempts made by your team. 1 level of your aura early will be sufficient and you can pick up 1 more level at level 8 to give you 3mps regen. This along with your +13 int from force staff and wand will be enough to handle your needs till later.

Go ahead and pick up your ultimate when you can. Sometimes it can be really effective but just be smart about using it because if you do it could mean you will need a trip back to the fountain to refill your mana.

After completing your force staff you'll want to pickup an ogre club which you can make into either a sange or bkb depending on how the game is going. Then after picking one of those items up you'll want to grab a platemail to get your armor up.

Just keep in mind that your item builds will be highly dependent on the flow of the game and how many successful teamfights and ganks you are involved in. Keeping good ward vision up is a priority over items. After you pickup your forcestaff you will have what you need to contribute to your team so don't spend time farming for items that you need to be spending covering your team and being in position to take advantage of positive situations.
