you need a bloodstone on SS dude. not even a doubt. Link and Orchid give him great mana regen and great escapes but he relies more on mana pool than mana regen. and a bloodstone will give him hp aswell as mana pool and equal mana regen depending on charges
uh, NO. Ball Lightning is percent mana based, so a larger mana pool does NOTHING for Storm. A Bloodstone is a very good item on Storm Spirit, but that's because of the MANA REGEN, not the larger mana pool. You really need a bottle early game also since farming up a bloodstone takes a while and it won't give you much mana regen until you complete the entire thing. Also, I would argue a bottle is MANDATORY on all casting solo mids. Orchid is very good on Storm by the way. Bloodstone, as I said, takes quite a while to farm, and you want it as early as possible so you can get some charges on it. Therefore, if you're not completely stomping your opponent in lane, an Orchid Malevolence is also a VERY good option. If Storm needed a higher mana pool, people would be rushing Chicken Staff right after bottle every single game. But, people are not like you, and they get Orchid or Bloodstone most Storm games.
