Blood Seeker most commonly referred to 'bs' in game is frowned upon as an easy hero to own with, which is partly true since you'll kind of need to do a ton of hard work in order to 'easily' own your opponents.
Last hitting is key. and with Quelling Blade equipped, it'll be easier since his attack animation is pretty decent. However, there are a lot of heroes that'll keep you from last hitting so in this case, patience is also key. Know when and when not to go for the last hit. i.e. make sure you're not being harassed too much and always make sure you're aware of the possibility that you might be ganked.
Since bs' skill set relies heavily on early lane control, he's mostly picked for the mid solo role, however like any hard carry hero, he'll also do well with a decent enough support, most likely someone with a heal or a disable or nuke that'll net him easy kills early on.
thanks to 'thirst' he makes an excellent ganker especially whenever your teammates are able to dominate their lanes.
also he makes good use of a lot of runes therefore having a warder in your team helps a lot.
last hit as much as you can be it denies or enemy creep kills, he gets life from killing units. aside from farming the gold necessary to rush basher. maxing out blood rage early helps you in killing a lot of early mid heroes since they don't have much armor and defense in the starting phases of the game.
after rushing skull basher, last hitting is a lot easier as well as having the ability to cancel out any hero who uses tp to port to their base safely.
