Hi, I'm Teysha. I'm not a professional player. I guess i'll never be. But i'm playing dota for 6-7 years and i mostly played as mid laner. Yep. My favourite hero is Mirana. By the way English is not my native language. So,sorry for the mistakes. And this is my very first guide.
Mirana is an agility hero. Mostly played at mid lane. She got a strong nuke kit at early game and late game potential like almost all agilty heroes. But mid-game is the where Mirana shines.
+Strong nuke
+Nice ultimate for ganks
+Can escape from dire situations easily
+She is a good chaser
+Fun to play with
-Really squishy
-She usually relys on her arrow to kill but her arrow is hard to land.
-Her escape tool has long cooldown early game
-She is hard to master
Early Game
You want to go mid-lane every single time. Mirana can gank really well after she reaches level 4 and you simply want to level-up as fast as you can. She is annoying to play against. One mistake. You take one arrow hit and you are simply DEAD. Keep an eye on your enemy while last-hitting. Everybody make mistakes and Mirana punishes them very very bad. I recommend you to level up your ulti at level 8. Because you want to use your mana to other skills and Mirana's ulti is not devastating. Especially in laning phase. You can gank effectively after level 4. Keep an eye on the map for opportunities.
You're aiming to finish your bottle and power threads at this stage of the game.
Mid-Game
This is where the Mirana shines. Keep an eye on the map for kill opportunities. If there is a good chance to kill someone, feel free to try. But do not overcommit. You are carry and you need farm. And if you miss your arrow and the target isnt really low, dont try to chase. Mirana is a risky hero already. Don't take unnecessary risks.
You are aiming to finish your desolator and yasha at this stage of the game
Late-Game
Simply, you are carry. Stay behind your team. Try to lock down fragile targets with important skills like lina-bane-enigma etc. If enemy team has fragile carries like troll warlord-luna moonfang etc, build an etheral blade and try to shotgun them with your combo.
And one last thing. The items that i said at end of stages are just my choices. Some people build a linken first. Some people rush for an etheral blade for early combo to pick up easy kils. Some people build an eul for guaranteed arrow hits. They are all good strategies too.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the most important part of playing mirana. Landing arrows. If your opponent is on guard, it's really hard to land an arrow. But there are some ways that you can catch them completely off-guard.
In this video, silencer was assuming that i have no mana. So he was playing wide open. But when i got my bottle from courier, i got my mana back and BUM.
In that one, butcher was completely unaware because he was thinking i was just running away and i caught him off guard.
This one is little bit tricky. Tinker taught he was safe because of that creep. With a good timing i managed to kill tinker.
This one is really easy to pull of. Lina taught she was safe because i was not there. Very simple and easy.
Dont get me wrong. This arrows are not epic or something. Theese are kind of shoots that you have to do at least 5-6 times to be successful in a game.
I know there is more to say. I need to explain item choices or how to isolate heroes to land double starstorm or more arrow shots. Good heroes to play with, annoying heroes to play against... But TI3 grand finals are about to start and its almost 3 am here. So i will add them soon. Don't hesitate to critisize me or leave a comment. I will be looking forward for them. Thanks for reading
