I'm suggesting that you warcry as an escape and stats at levels 2 and 4, respectively, rather than cleave. I still don't think cleave is a good choice unless you want to farm jungle and at low levels that could leave you and your team in a very bad position. Cleave is great mid-game due to the ability to farm a creep wave quickly and then return to your team for a teamclash
^ Because you cant just focus on farm all game without helping team or providing any utilities. Sacrificing your Q for cleave means that your damage burst / output is by far less since cleave is only 60% of your overall damage and also having to chase/escape/kill. Remember....Sven rely on auto attacks to be strong...early game his attack damage and attack speed isn't that high to sustain the output of what Q can do...and even at times Sven might need to use Q just to kill someone or start a fight *if no initiators*....that EXTRA 100 - 150 - 200 damage of that Q could of won yourself a kill....rather then cleave which only does 60% when you MIGHT not even get to hit them as much due to opponent CC's or Shut downs.
If you want to farm why get cleave early? It pushes your lane and makes farming harder. I admit you might get +1 cs because of it, but if you want to farm why push a lane
