Introduction

Lifestealer is a very powerful strength hero with both jungling ability if you need that extra farm, or can be the most powerful ganker with that should cause a fear in every enemy Hero.

This is my first build, so if you have any questions just ask, and I will contact you as soon as possible to update my build. Please do not say anything bad about this build, until you try it. If you feel like you did good with using this build, post your scores below in the comment section below.

Items

Starting Items

Stout Shield

This item is practically self explanatory, because this will allow him to be able to survive in lane much longer than anyone else can, and with creeps being the main damage against you, OR jungle neutrals, this item is versatile in either situation.

Quelling Blade

This item is particularly good for jungling, but also a necessity for laning, since this tiem gives you the potential to do more damage, and get more last hits, and even more denies if that is what you need to do in your lane. Especially since Lifestealer is a melee character, the bonus damage is increased, making last hitting quite easy.

Tango

This is simple, if you get hit a bunch, you can stay in lane longer...

Core Items

Power Treads VS.Phase Boots

Personally, I prefer Phase Boots, while the HP gain and attack speed from Power Treads are noted, but the speed boost, something much needed on a Lifestealer especially for a good gank to occur, and the raw attack damage make Lifestealer quite a bit more effective. However, Power Treads can be used until you fully figure out this character, but once you learn him, Phase Boots will be superior.

Mask of Madness

This is the part you may be like "Wait...why!?" Simple, the lifesteals STACK. This way, you now gain a lifesteal based off of hoe much life they and, and how much damage you are doing. Plus, the attack speed bonus will allow you to massively regain health if you ever get low. Don't forget with open wounds, you are now getting 3 lifesteals at once. Once you get this item, if you die, it was probably a 4 or 5 man gank on you.

Armlet of Mordiggian

This is an AMAZING item on any strength hero, and Lifestealer is no exception. The strength gain when active makes you even tankier than before, and the 40 hp drain per second is hardly ever noticeable if you are attacking.

Skull Basher

Another simple and self explanitory item, if they are stunned they can't move or attack you, hence you get free damage to them, and with a Mask of Madness activate, you will be hitting 2 to 3 times before their stun ends, they will not be able to walk away from that one easily.

Luxury/Situational Items

Abyssal Blade

I mean might as well, getting some bonus damage allowing our Mask to get more lifesteal and better yet, we already built a Skull Basher, so there is no reason not to upgrade it for 3800.

Daedalus

Not truly necessary, but if you have free farm, and want to out put more damage, and get the occasional crit, this is not a bad item. But DO NOT just rush for this item, this is an item you would get AFTER you are already fed.

Heart of Tarrasque

Any character can benefit from this, but with our build idea of high damage and high sustain, this fits in quite well. Due to not needing to ever go base again, and the Armlet now being active the whole time, you are able to just wreck down fields of enemies. Definitely get if the opportunity is given to you.

Monkey King Bar

This is for dealing with that Phantom Assasin or a Faceless Void, so you are still able to output damage, and not miss, giving you guaranteed contact and lifesteal.

Vanguard

If you already had a stout shield, why not just upgrade it to a Vanguard, because honestly, the HP regen and the block chance from a melee hero is nice.

Sange and Yasha

The armor given due to the agility gain is nice, along with the strength gain and the maim chance, this allows you to become an even more effective ganker, especially with the increased movement speed given by Yasha.

Assault Cuirass

Overall, probably up there is Heart of Tarrasque in usefulness. Due to the armor gain, and the aura, and attack speed bonus for you and your team. You gain the benefits as well as your teamates, making your teamfights even more useful than before. Plus the enemy aura armor loss can make a tanky character, just plain meat for you to feast on.

Team Work

A lot of people are good for you to have on your team, but none are a true necessity.

Crystal Maiden--The passive mana regen will allow you to be able to spam your skills easier in the early game, being a big bonus for you.
Bloodseeker--Laning against a Lifestealer Bloodseeker combo, you will get completely wrecked, and your team should never truly leave lane.
Pudge--The dissable from his ult, and his hook. As well, you can infest him, and give him some free nuke damage, making him so much more over powered.

People you should fear
Blade Mail--Enough Said, because when you attack, it hurts you.
Axe--His passive axe swing can make him have a chance to kill you, even if he is running away.
Bane--If your Rage is on cooldown, you will just get wrecked with the Enfeelbe Nightmare combo.
