This is not your way of formatting your guide, this is in fact your way of completely not formatting your guide. Because you did not make use of any formatting techniques. This is an imposition to all the guys who invest hard work into providing informative and readable content for the community. This does not require following a formatting guide at all, but rather common sense and 5 minutes.

Your guide is not comprehensive by any means. To be honest, it is not a guide at all, but a reproduction of a stereotype match as Spectre. Are there situations which require me to change the skill sequence or the item build? Why are the items suggested better than other common items and in which cases? Against and with which heroes you have to adjust your playstyle with this build and how? Why does this most popular skill build have the lowest winrate? You need to answer the substantial questions to enable inexperienced players to understand what they are doing and why.

Don't get me wrong. The foundation of your guide is quite solid and I noticed that you understand the playstyle and decision making as Spectre very well. Plus I find this item build really interesting. With marginal effort you can make big improvements on your guide. Instead of advertising a comprehensive guide, implement the basics its missing at this state.

Your build is not controversial. it is incomplete. Do you intend to keep Mask of Madness till the late game??? Not a good choice.
Your guide is a narrative of an ideal game. It is not a guide.
Meaning, I am not crying over your formatting, I ask you that please invest time in making this guide better content-wise also.

Look around here: Friends and foes. Item justification section.
If you want you can give a summary of how build looks like at 10 minute intervals.

These things make a guide easily digestible and well appealing. Moreover, it Adds value. I am grateful that you looked beyond my anger and found what I meant. So please tae this advice as well.

PS: I have saved my vote. Havent upvoted or downvoted. I reckon many others here are also standing in this position so you can stand to gain some votes, if you correct your narrative into a guide.

Thank you for your comments. In the next few weeks I will implement additional build walkthroughs that are potentially not as controversial. Whilst my guide may seem "complacent" or, as I mentioned previously, “patronising” this was not my intent. I intend to demonstrate this through positive improvements and long term commitment. Furthermore, I did not add other skill builds or items simply because it deviated from the standard build which I attempted to explain in the introduction. Thank you again. ettubrute.

Your way of formatting? Did you even put any effort aside from typing?
Stop patronizing yourself.
Mr guide maker, i believe that you should take this guide out. There are better ones.

I dont think common folk like me that are good on spectre will have the time to read or appreciate you. Why no first point in dispersion?
Ever thought of skipping second point in haunt for dispersion?
So, you prefessional chum, where is that Abyssal and diffusal. Your seventh slot refresher?
Oh all i see here is your complacency. You lazy attitude. Btw i read your guide.
It sucks.

Downvoting seems to me an easy punishment for this guide .
Poorly formatted with no prose and an unapologetic attitude.

Much like the current published guides.
Now et tu brute?

Well I won't judge your formatting - at the same time I can't give you an upvote for this guide because other persons put some huge effort into it.
But I like your opinions and the Mask of Madness is pretty good as it speeds up your jungling and even though you can't use the active in most fights you get 20% lifesteal instead of 15% that you would get from a Helm of the Dominator

Imho the Mask of Madness is viable for the same cause its viable on Jugger. It's mainly for speeding up the farming and giving a source of lifereg + more damage/speed if needed in the mid game. You can sell it later to exchange it for satanic. Satanic is too expensive for the mid game and wont improve the speed of farming.

Although rather interesting, I doubt that Mask of Madness is viable. It makes a bit of sense, but getting focused down and blown up is still bad. The idea as a Spectre is to slowly snowball out of control, and you can't do that if you die. The attack speed synergises with Desolate, but generally speaking, a big HP Item is better. There are also better lifesteal Items out there, like Satanic. It gives the HP, and it gives the lifesteal that a carry likes.

Beyond that, the guide is not formatted correctly. Check out the formatting guide here.

The rest of the guide is good though.
