Slippery Guide To The Slardar

Intro

This guide is in progress. Yet, from experience, I will back up this build. This will teach you to semi-carry/tank for your team, thus earning kills and still living.

Skill Order Justification

Obviously, max out the crushfirst. Most important spell, deals damage, stuns, and slows all at level one. Sprintis taken at level two to avoid ganks, or just to catch that dumbass who tower rushed you.
Why is Bashtaken at level 3? Sure it's useless there, but through my experience, there were a multitude of times where I netted a kill with bash. I had low health and ran back to tower, witch doctor was chasing. I stunned with my AoE stun, then auto-attacked. I bashed once to stun him in the tower's range. So after just 3 hits, there's a 10+10+10% chance of bashing. So a 30%. Well, i take it because I'm lucky, if you don't that's just fine. After maxing crush, I attempt to max out bash, because you should have gotten power treads. Now, you can gank.

Build Justification

First, I try to maximize the small amount of cash given in the beginning. During the lane phase, try to build treads, because that should be first. Then finish bracers, get back in the lane. Get the HoD, (Helm of the Dominatior), finish your drumand magic wand. The game should be 15-20 minutes in if you're doing good. 25 is fine, but you've been delayed.
The next items are very important, depending on what your team needs. If there is a tank on your team who can't tank, pick up another bracer, and go for the Heart (Reaver first). If your team is lacking DPS, get a Hyper Stone and an armlet. The next items always depend, I prefer to go for the Reaver and build the Heart. Sometimes dagger is a very viable core item. It always depends on what your team needs. You are to fill gaps as Slardar, not to carry like a Drow Ranger.
