I've got mixed feelings about this guide. On one hand, I'd like to criticize many things but on the other you also mentioned that this guide was specifically made for your friend who I assume is a beginner. I suppose it'll be a helpful guide for newbies but nobody else anywhere above.

Agreed. If this guide is for laning, that skill build would never work anything above I'd say Crusader 1 or 2 at best. I would suggest you make a guide that can work for higher tier games so when your friend gets to that level, he is able to actually do decent up there.
