Silence is it's own reward

Introduction

Hello
This is my Silencer build.
Silencer is a hero that needs mana. Quite a lot actually.
And with more intelligence the stronger he becomes.
This build is for carry silencer.
Hope it helps

Items

As Stated previously. Silencer needs mana. So starting with 3 mantel of intelligence gives a good starting point.

Because the low mana regen intelligence gives, it may be necessary to buy sages mask early.
Then get the null talisman to increase your survivability.

Aganims Scepter, Demons edge and Vanguard ar the real core items you need. When you buy Staff of wizardry you can sell one of your null talismans.
Demons edge is for increased damage and build up to monkey king bar and vanguard is to survive.
Eul's Scepter of Divinity is to give more mana regen to silencer

Later you can experiment with what you like. Because at this point you should have rather good items to gank.

Skill

There is no definitive build here. It all depends on the lane opponent. But, always start with curse of the silent. Very good way to harass. depletes the health of a level 1 or 2 hero to half with only 2 uses. If lucky you may even be able to kill them.

Later on use the Curse and last words as often you can, draining the enemy's health as much as possible even when it is not a huge encounter.

Lastly it is the Global Silence. PAY ATTENTION TO THE MAP. Don't wait till the perfect moment to use it. Use it when you see some heroes clash. it helps immensely and can easily turn the tide of most battles.

How to play

Harass, harass and harass again. The more you harass the better. Weak ALL opponents who come even near you. Just remember to stay clear of stun heroes. Attack with your team. Silencer is rather squishy. Easily killed even with vanguard and 2k health.

Do not use Glaives of wisdom too much during early game. only on heroes and occasional creeps. Remember to farm gold and deny. Silencer has rather long attack range, use it to deny and harass.

Team Play

Help teammates who are battling elsewhere with global silence. HAVE COMPLETE MAP OVERLOOK AT ALL TIMES. Curse and last words always. Then help with glaives of wisdom to make a dent.
Even if you don't kill you can still be a huge asset to your team with great damage.

Pros and cons

IF used correctly:
Pros:
Huge early game damage
Good harasser
Good as a carry and support

Cons:
Squishy
Not that quick
No way to slow or stun

Summary

Silencer is good as a damage hero and support hero.
Just make sure to choose a skill tree that helps your team the most. Sometimes you need to get glaives of wisdom to level 4 before any of the others. other times it might be curse or last words. It all depends on the opponents and your teammates.
