First you help depleete your lanes oppositions hp regen. By jumping on them early, you force them to use whatever healing salve they have. also try to time the jump so your creeps can get some hits in too. very importent on low lvls. for this to be effective, you need hp regen, so tranquil boots is a must. Also you have to understand how to use soul ring the most efficently. SInce you have mines you can ez -y drop intel items while using soul ring - therefor eliminating the need for + 4 mana rene skill and mana boots.
Aether lens is a MUST. It will help you set up traps while beeing concealed in the safety of trees and mines.
While mining, try to put them as close to each other as possible. try to hide them from direct view and always use atleast 3 in proximity, or you end up doing a lot of usless damage. MOst importent is to use mana wisely, practice makes perfect.
forget about green mines at first, only after aghs are they worth.
