I really don't understand the vanguard build. Vanguard is for Axes and Bristlebacks, not single target agility carries. And there is no reason for ever getting Abyssal Blade that early. Get it maybe if they have a Storm Spirit and you have no stuns at all, which really shouldn't happen.

Anyway, the new Abyssal is rubbish compared to the old one. Get some proper items instead. Phantom Assassin doesn't need damage block....

early Vanguard build is a thing now (same with armlet build for PA, it's same strange sh!t but it works)... not only PA but Jugg or even AM have vanguard builds and they are very successful in certain situations.

while I think this is a pretty good guide with good formatting I do have to disagree with the item build.

If you're going a pushing build there is no "Vlads or Vanguard". You go Vlads every time. The amount of lane push it gives is too good to pass up. Also the arguement for Vanguard opposed to BKB is pretty much obsolete. You also need BKB every time. It gives 10 str. Which means 190 HP, which is a "an extra nuke that would otherwise kill her". Its also only 1.5k gold more expensive, which is cheap for what its giving you. More damage, and magic immunity. Vanguard is for countering autos, which is good on a tank like Axe. However Pa already has a built in dodging mechanic, so reducing the damage from he autos you take will be of little consequence. Opposed to magic immunity, which will keep you from getting stunned, nuke down, and disabled during fights. That in itself is priceless. Because the moment a PA loses her momentum is the moment she dies. Save the Vanguard for the late game when you need a Abyssal right after. and already have skull basdher.

You go all crazy about the stats on a simple Vanguard but then you write a paragraph like this one:

Quoted:
Sange and Yasha probably the most viable here, but one I still did not recommend. SnY doesn't offer anything beside stats, some health (+16 Strength), some damage (+32 attack damage: +16 from bonus, +16 from Agi stats), attack speed bonus (+32 attack speed: +16 from bonus, +16 from Agi stats), and Maim ability, which in my honest opinion not that much needed because you have allies in battle and have QW abilities to catch up. It's good, but that's it.

Meh

Will you suggest Sange and Yasha for PA? It's a good item when you are opting out of Skull Basher... If you had a bad lane and you need to catch up, Sange and Yasha will be able to help you out most of the time. The extra agility/strength and movement/attackspeed increase is welcome to PA as she is fragile and a great damage dealer through Coup de Grace.

No probably not. You'll be surprised by how tanky she is when she has Vanguard and Power Threads (str). 1.300 HP by level 8 with damage block and Blur evasion, her EHP is above 1.500. She needs two to three ultimate nukes to get taken down in early game with extra 1~2 common nukes. She has to get focused down by three people alone, even then she has good chance to high tail and escape.

SnY serves the same purpose, but redundant, and Manta Style gives more utility to purge negative buffs (silences and the like) and scales better into late game. Manta means less dependant on BKB to rid buffs, and can dodge projectiles if you are good at it.

Sange and Yasha, imo, is an item you buy when you are behind, and are trying to get back into the game with limited farm. It's not too expensive, at 4k gold, and has a very nice build up. The stats it gives you are very nice to have. But you wouldn't really think about getting it when you're ahead, there are better damage items, and you can just get a Eye of Skadi to tank up if you're doing well. And like croofe said, Manta Style is just better than SnY because of the dispell.
