Team

There are two main ways you can play IO:
1) With the teammate: You need to have strong communication like discord.

2)Solo: playing solo IO is HARD requires skill and resistance to flaming of not playing IO right.

Introduction

Io is a squshy-wishy hero in early game until you get tarasque.
So be careful about your positioning.

Items

Headdress allows you to heal more as you heal with the aura healing them and the aura healing you.
You can go without a headdress if you know you won't pressure or get pressured.

make sure to use tangos on yourself and don't give them to your core as you eating it heals them more when tethered.

use your wand if it is full or in the emergency survival situations (no, running low at mana and sitting under a tower is not and emergency )

upgrade to wand if your lane is spell heavy if not go for the bottle first.

you need the ring of tarasque for healing and it builds into holy locket.

after the early game get mechanism as it heals 440/522.5/594/675

holy locket gives you a big boost in heals instead of healing 1.5 times the heals now you heal 2.025 times the heals + the mekansm gets more amp and other healing items as well.

heart of Tarasque is the late game item you get and it is one of the best as your core gets 2 times the tarasque heals.

that is it for the items here

Skills

follow the build order as it says if you aren't a madman carry IO.

Tether

first and the main Io ability is tether and this can be very versatile as it provides healing movement speed and you can long range tether to someone and escape the fights.

spirits

spirits is an ability you use to last hit, kill people stack and pull camps.

overcharge

overcharge can be used in 2 ways you can heal and hit or heal and escape as it gives 0.8% max health regen.

relocate

relocate is a skill that can be used very creatively.

excamples:

TP back to base get heals items, heal your tetheree.

TP from base tether to them and go back, so now you saved them.

TP in base with your tethetee if you are low, brake the tether you go back and die, but you saved your core.

Talents

lvl 10,15

First 2 talents are not optional you go left on both.

the lvl 20

talent has +15 armor or +75 spirits damage.

the only time you take 15 armor is when you are against all physical damage and you need to survive alone. other than that just take the +75 spirits damage.

the lvl 25 talent

left

attack the ally's target which means that you attack once more when your tetheree attacks.

right

-30 relocate cooldown

you get this if you need to split push fast and are loosing.
you relocate from base go, push and go back.
